昨天，从Facebook 上看到一则新闻。在吉隆坡，有一位男生因为女朋友跟他提出分手，他居然就从14楼跳下去了。他自杀之前还在Facebook 上倒数。让我觉得很惊讶的是有人居然有人认为爱而殉情是一件伟大的事。我觉得他为爱情自杀不是一件很浪漫的事情；但我可以很坚决地说那是一件很愚蠢的决定。

在他跳下去的那一刻可曾想过，他爸妈会有多伤心。为了他所付出的时间与心血，全都白费了。

在他跳下去的那一刻可曾想过，有多少的病人祈求只要有多一天相聚的时间。对他们来说生命可能只是一种奢望吧。

他有勇气选择死，那为什么他没有勇气活下去呢？

难道在这现今的社会里，所教导的是，只要一遇到挫折就选着放弃了吗？谁曾没有自杀的念头过？

但是生命是如此可贵啊，所以在你做任何决定之前，请三思。你一个人的举动会对多少人带来影响。

Sorry peeps for didn't update my blog in ages ( I doubt that anyone is reading this), has lose the urge to update it. But hopefully I will update it every now and then with the thoughts that comes into my mind (I think it's more with Sharing rather than update :D).

So I have been catching up with some english drama e.g. Desperate Housewives, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, etc. (September totally is one big DRAMA FEST!! ;D). Personally I love Glee, I love every single songs that covered by them (most of them). And I found that Glee is trying to portrait what's really happening in real life, although I found that the plot is little bit dodgy especially when they're trying to pay a tribute to someone (Britney episode), it's just like a series of music videos that join together to make an episode (like Dreamgirls).

The latest episode of Glee - 'Grilled Cheesus' is talking about personal believe. So I think some of us are like Finn, we are trying really hard to find something to portrait our god. In Finn's case, he assumed that he is talking to God as he saw his portrait on the sandwich.

And when he found out that we can't see god through any channel, he lost his faith in god. I truly believe that it's in our nature, we have to see it to believe it. But reality is we can't see it to believe it and none of us are exception. We all have to go through our own journey to see that god is with us. It's all about Faith, it's a leap of faith. And you better believe me, He is there, he is always with us and he will never leave us.

Finally hand in my 1200 words RESEARCH Essay which is about animal testing last Friday! The topic is "Should Animal Testing for Medical Purpose be Outlawed?" It is an argument essay and I support that animal testing for medical purpose shouldn't be outlawed. Actually I did write more than the limit which is 1200 words but I don't think the marker will notice, hope he/she won't be that bored and count words by words. Hope that I will get a good mark for my essay.

LOL! I saw an incident last Friday, some guy was fooling around and he pissed everyone off. The incident happened in the Computer Lab - LG24. I was in the Computer Lab and doing my last editing with my essay. And some guys which obviously fooling around, he switched everyone screen to the teacher's screen that he is using. The noisy and packed computer lab suddenly turn into pin drop silent and everyone were staring at him. People asked him to turn the screen back and told him that isn't funny at all as they are rushing for their essay before they need to hand in. It turns out that his prank isn't that funny when he said he can't turn it back, because he just simply push a button. People were pissed off by his childish action and some students called the technician for help. At last, he escaped from the computer lab. Luckily, I did hit the print button before my screen went off, if not he will be so SORRY. This lesson teach us that DO NOT fool around while people are busying and Think before we do anything stupid.

Yippee~! I'm a Uncle. Wanna welcome my newly born Nephew - Laurence Teo Jia Cheng 张佳程.

He is just 11 days old. My parents will be flying to Melbourne to celebrate his 1 month old. My mum and dad are SOOO~ Happy!! They are finally Grandparents! Me and my sis are going to fly to Melbourne too after our exams to see our little nephew.

My mum had left 2 weeks ago. Geez, now no one will prepare breakfast for us & clean the house & do the laundry for us. :P I miss her so much. Biology Excursion!

Last Saturday we went to Royal National Park for our biology excursion. It was a Fun experience for me and I had the chance to study different animals by having a tour in the Symbio Wildlife Gardens. We had studied the differences between the plants in heathland and also rain forest. I think we can considered ourselves lucky since Saturday was a bit windy compared to Sunday and the standard B group had to do their excursion on Sunday. Besides, we also celebrated Shely's Birthday at the Wildlife Garden. Now let our journey begins: *Less talking & Let the photos do the talking*

Today me and some friends went back to Mamak to celebrate for my nephew's 19th Birthday, Yeah I'm his UNCLE *Gosh I feel SO OLD!* Actually he is older than me but he call me uncle, I think this happen in most chinese BIG family. Today I did something funny, when we put the candles up I thought we bought a packet of 20 candles, so we just left out 1 candle. Who knows when they counted the number of candles, it turned out that I had put 23 candles on it. Jj told me :"When I saw the cake, I'm very touched until I count the candles." XD

The cold winter just pass by so quickly and 3 months had gone so fast without me even noticing.

Today is the 1st day of Spring. Just left 2 months and I will be back in Malaysia, but before that I still need to sit for my Final Exams. Now I just try my best to score as high as possible, so I planned to stay back at Uni's library after everyday class.

Finally I have the chance to update my blog. Last week had been a Busy Week for me. Last Monday, we had our Biology Lab Session and we need to dissect Sheep's Brain & Kidney.

I had my Seminar Presentation last Thursday and my topic is "Is Television Viewing Beneficial for Children?". This is my script:

The significant improvement of technology has a great impact in the field of Media and it can be clearly seen from the evolution of mass media. Even though mediums like the internet now provide instant access to information, there is still a minority who do not have access to such facilities, however it is easier for them to gain access to a television, ensuring that television remains the greatest potential propaganda machine in the world. I would like to ask everyone seated here, who hasn’t watch TV before? Everyone has, isn’t that right? Television can be considered as one of the most important inventions of last century. It has a global existence. In fact it can be considered as the prime factor that has given rise to globalization. However an issue has been logged & the debate is still ongoing which is “Is television viewing beneficial for children”. We are going to look into at both the advantages and the disadvantages of television viewing for children.

There are few ways that TV viewings can benefits children, first by watching television children can obtain the latest news and information what is happening all around the world. By knowing the latest information can ensure that children have a good general knowledge of the world. Besides, television viewing is a powerful tool for teaching and learning for children. This could be seen from a research which was conducted by the Computer Technology Research (CTR), they reported that people retain only 20% of what they seen and 30% of what they hear. But they remember 50% of what they see and hear, and as much as 80% of what they see, hear and do simultaneously. So children can learn and memorize more things by watching TV compare to reading books.

Furthermore, television viewing can broaden children’s knowledge and they can gain knowledge that can’t be learn from books. For example, some TV channels such as Discovery channel, National geography and Animal planets, can offer children a chance to explore places, see nearly extinct animals and much more on what they can’t see/do in a lifetime. In the book title “Children and Television: A Global Perspective” by Dafnah Lemish, Lemish believed that television has the potential in closing the educational gaps in between two different life classes & it could minimize negative cultural stereotypes. For example, In the Middle East, there are two version of Sesame Street: the Hebrew Rechov Sumsum and the Arabic Shara’a Simsim. These shows represented the “two-states solution of nations destined to live as neighbours and with two sets of characters speaking in two languages”. Moreover, TV provides an unlimited source of information and it is convenient as it is just in your lounge. Television viewing can expose children to different culture and help in the building of characteristics & skills such as analytical skills as they can discuss and share their opinions for certain issue with people.

Even though TV programs have a good side, often there will be negativity as well. Let us discuss about the disadvantages of TV viewing. Although TV viewing helps children in the building of characteristics, it may also give inappropriate influences and impact on the children’s point of view. Young children may assume that what is being broadcasted on the TV is always true, safe and acceptable. Although useful information can be gain from TV, some information may be incorrect and children often can’t differentiate from right or wrong. TV violence has been a prevalence issue which has been raised all over the world. According to Mary L. Gavin which is a medical editor from Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Gavin stated that an average American child will witness 200,000 violence acts on TV by the age of 18. TV violence is also being blame for the increasing of the crime rate as studies found out that children imitated televised violence behavior broadcast on TV and they give bring what is called as copycat crime from TV to reality. Along with it, TV programs often also give wrong impression and labeled these risky behaviors such as drinking alcohol, smoking, doing drugs and premarital sex as “Cool / Fun”. A study from the Center on Alcohol Marketing and Youth (CAMY) shows that youth expose to alcohol ads on TV had increased by 30% from 2001 to 2006.

Apart from that, television viewing may also cause addiction in children. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF), children and teens 8 to 18 years spend nearly 4 hours a day in front of a TV screen. Addiction to television watching is a waste of time and this may lead to poor academic performance. Besides that, an anti-social behavior may also be constructed if the habit is serious. In addition, TV viewing in children is more likely to link to health problems such as obesity and high blood pressure. High blood pressure is caused due to the lack of movement and because most of the time people just lie on the couch. People who suffer from high blood pressure are more likely to be obesity. TV snacks are another additional factor because most TV snacks such as chips are salty and salt will increase the blood pressure readings. Furthermore, long hours of TV viewing are bad for children’s eyesight. Children’s eyesight can be affected by the factors such as the distance of the TV, the durations of watching and the light intensity.

In the conclusion, there are both positive and negative outcome for children to watch TV, however I believed that watching TV is good for children but with a limited time. Children shouldn't waste too much of time on watching TV, they should manage their time well, as the children stage is best period to learn something new. Furthermore, involvement in sports and co curricular activities can aid in the building of a healthy body and mind of a children. Likewise, parents should be a role model for their children and bring out good TV viewing habits like watching TV together and share their opinions and values about what they had seen. This can give an opportunity for children to learn what is good or bad.

Actually I watched G.I Joe the week before, it is Purely an ACTION movie. Enjoyed the Visual Effect. Looking forward for the next episode.

2) Overheard

Overheard is indeed a very good movie, love the plot but the ending of the movie is simply too sad. Besides, I had learnt from the movie that lie is like a snowball. When we used others lies to cover it, it will start going down the slope, eventually it will become bigger & bigger and we need more lies to cover it. Sometimes even though the truth is hard to be tell, it's better not to tell lies so that anyone wont get hurt including ourself.

Yesterday was Malaysia 52nd National Day, me and Seumas went to Sinma Laksa House (a S'pore+M'sian Restaurant) to "celebrate" after our Chemistry Lab Night Session. I ordered a Nasi Lemak and it taste good + the price is reasonable, I defenitely will go back to try other foods.

Sorry guys for not updating recently, Semester 2's classes have been so packed and we have tons of homework to do. I'm think I will have less chance to update because I want to catch up with my studies. Now it's Semester 2 & it needs to be a Painful Semester so that I can achieve the requirement GPA to enter Medical Science *No Pain, No Gain!*. This week I'm busy preparing for my seminar presentation which I will going to present next week & my title is "Is television viewing beneficial for children?". Oh Man! I'm the 1st to present in front of my class. So wish me luck guys. *Finger crossing*

A New Semester!

Semester 2 just started last Monday & the 1st week is one tiring week for me. The new timetable is FREAKING "Awesome"! The timetable is just so beautifully

And don't know which "clever" person organized our time table. Most of the time, we need to run from our foundation building to the main campus for our next lecture. I love Monday because my class will start at 11am & end at 1pm (if no lab). While for Friday, I need to wear my running shoes to uni, it's a Running Day for our class XD. I think I will become more fit when going back to Malaysia the end of this year.

Last Saturday, me and my sis went to Fitness First to do some exercise. After that, I accompany my sis to a session call BodyJam, a dancing+ aerobic programme. The instructor use a lot of dance movement while doing the exercise. We had dance contemporary, cha cha & hip hop. I had a lot of fun although it is very tiring & I sweat A LOT. It had been quite a while since my last ballroom dancing practice.

My 1st Ski Trip!!

Just arrived back home Sunday night after my ski trip. It is a Great(Butt-Painful) Experience for me. This is my 1st time to ski and I have some bruise at my body because of ALL the falling & all my muscles are sored. Skiing is not as easy as it looks like, it is a adventurous sport & it may be dangerous too. It requires a great stamina & you feel good when you didn't fall but once you fall *OUCH*.

Day 1: On the 1st day, we didn't do any skiing because it took us 6 hours to pick up our Ski Gears. And by the time we reached our hotel, it is already 5pm.

Day 2: Once we reached Thredbo, we had our 1st ski lesson. We had our lesson at a slope, I couldn't stop keep going backward & I fell down *I'm so embarrassed because I'm the 1st that fall down in my ski group* >__<. After that, we went to ski at Friday Flat. I skiied down Friday Flat around 6 laps. I think the 1st time I skiied down, I fell more that 7 times. Then, I just fell for 1 time but I still can't manage to not fall even at the 6th laps, either is people bumped into me or I bumped into people *But mostly is people bumped into me XD*

Day 3: *HoORRAYYY* I didn't fall down for my 1st time when I'm going down Friday Flat. After we did few laps at Friday Flat, the boys decided to go all the way up The Cruiser. We took the Gunbarrel Express up to The Glades then ski down Walk About and we took a chairlift up to The Cruiser! I It is SOOO Windy @ the top of The Cruiser, even I stopped I still will move forward because of the wind. When I was at the top of The Cruiser, I was OMG when am I doing up here!! =__='' Besides, the boys skied so fast until I can't follow them + they didn't notice I'm at their back, so I had to find my way to skied down The Cruiser through Squatters Run alone. I'm so GLAD that the Dream Run had closed and we need to take the chairlift back to Friday Flat because I'm EXHAUSTED & my legs are killing me! And Thanks God, I'm still alive!! XD

Harry Potter Night!

Tuesday night, we went for "Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince". I'm rather disappointed. I thought this episode will be full of magic, fighting & romance. Who know this episode came out quite boring & it is just the beginning of the next episode, to prepare for the next episode. I think the next episode will be full of thrills. My conclusion for this episode, the headmaster is dead & we just find out that Mr. Snake is the half-blood prince. I rate it 2.5/5 , since there are just 1 fighting scene & no romance. My advice is you can just skip this episode and wait the next episode. But I think most people already watched before I did. XD

Transformer Night!

Actually I would like to update my blog on Monday but I had sent my computer to reformat. It had been my 3rd time I brought my computer to fix (1st time- Monitor, 2nd time- CPU & 3rd time- Wireless). I just bought this desktop not more that 4 months and there are so many problems + it wasn't that cheap at all!! Maybe it's my fault, I shouldn't went to Chinatown to buy this comp at the 1st place.

In fact, the 2nd time I also bring my CPU to fix with the Wireless thinggyy and they need 2 weeks time. I'm cool with that since I can get my CPU back to do my report. But after 1 month they didn't even call me. When I call back, they said they had lost my wireless card and they will issue a new one for me. So I went down to the city just to take a stupid wireless card and they said they are not sure whether this wireless card will suits my computer or not & if there is any problems, I can come back to them agn *As if I want to see them AGAIN*. Then I install the wireless card to my CPU, once I connected to the internet using the wireless, my computer will start to jam. I phone them and they ask me to bring the CPU to them. So the next day, I carried the CPU all the way then take a bus down to city to fix it. After that, I just put the CPU with them and went for lunch with my sis. I thought this time will be their problems since its the wireless card that they had issued not functioning, who knows they rang me & they told me that my computer got virus & I need to reformat it. It's hard to believe that since I was not at the store while they were doing the virus scan + the computer's antivirus software did scan it regularly. It will cost me $50 just to reformat the computer. I just agree with them because I just want to get my PC back A.S.A.P.

Yesterday my sis help me collect my CPU back and she told me it is FOC and it was kinda Happy at that moment. Later on, when I'm doing all the installation, my PC still JAM! The problem OBVIOUSLY is with the wireless card!!! Once I disconnect it, my PC is fine. I was Pissed Off and keep SWEARING!!! So now I need to connect a cable from my sis's room to my room to use the internet & my sis keep tripping by the cable and I just can say "Don't blame me , Blame FuDaChi". Later today, I'm gonna complain them like HELL *SURE I will*

For my conclusion, FuDaChi you SUCKSSS big time!! : )

I know, I know I'm so OUTDATED since the movie had released long time ago. But can blame who, blame exam period loh. I enjoyed the movie very much, the visual effect are breath taking! But sometimes I can't really see anything since they are moving Too Fast. Though I think the plot is still ok and the ending is predictable. I would rate it 4/5. After we finished the movie, me and my sis did something stupid at the Cinema & I'm embarrassed because they were a lot of people looking at us.

Sorry guys for not updating my blog more than 1 month. Was busying with my exams and Yesterday I just sit for my last exam! It had been quite hectic period for me during the last whole month (Tutorials+Labs+Volunteering+Preparing for Exams). Finally it's over & Now I'm Enjoying MY Winter Break!! Following is roughly what I did throughout the whole month:

Me and my friends are SHOCKED to discovered that. The next day I went back to inform the manager and I didn't plan to complain about that but the attitude of the manager really piss me off. This our conversation.

Manager: Oh! Do you want a replacement?

Me: No. I just only want to inform you so that others will not have the same problem as mine.

Manager: Ok. Thank you for informing us.

It didn't sound that bad but actually the manager didn't look at me while he is talking to me. He just walking here and there and talk to others. That's so RUDE! After that, I told my friend, actually there is no point to inform him, he doesn't care at all. =____="

2) Hillsong Conference

I had volunteered to help out with Hillsong Conference ,the conference was 4 days long which was on the 7th July-10th July and I'm working as Host for Hillsong JAM. Host's duties are to collect the offerings, welcome them and provide information for the teens. But somehow we actually do mostly anything when we were instructed to do so. JAM is a youth service for yr8-yr12 students. Some of them even flew from another country, following their parents. I enjoyed myself very much I had the feelings that I'm also one of the participants as my age is same with some participants : D. It had been a GREAT Experience for me and I had met AMAZING peoples throughout the conference. I definitely will volunteer for next year conference.

Conference were held during my schooling period, so I just helped out after I finish my class. I had to travel 1.5 hours to Sydney Olympic Park for volunteering. And this is my 1st time to travel by train ALONE. I had lost my way in the train station and taken the wrong train. XD Thou, it still a good experience for me because I had a chance to explore and learn by myself.

The Things We Do For Love ~ ♥

Today I just done my English Summary Presentation, the title for the article is "The Things We Do For Love". Although I tend to stutter for some times, I still made it to the finish line XD and I think it went quite smoothly. A very BIG Thank You to my sis and friends for helping me out with the preparation for my presentation, I couldn't done it without you guys. You guys ROCK! =P

The main purpose of the article is The attitude of both gender towards Romance. This is my 3 main points:

1) How women define romance

2) How men define romance

3) Advice for men

Following is my summary presentaion :-

Who doesn’t have dreams? Everyone that sitting here have their own dreams, either you have reached your goal or still chasing after it. Women are no exception, they have their own dream too, and for some of them getting married to the ideal man and live a prosperous life is one of their dreams. In this article, Souter stated that for most women, romance is one of the essential factors that they need in their life. This can be seen, during Valentine’s Day, a girl who gets a gift is seen as more superior and is envied by every other girl. Simone de Beauvoir claimed that many women who longs to be happy assumes that she must be loved, and to be loved, she must await love’s coming. This idea was already embedded in them since young through cartoons. Women want romance to continue in their life without losing its spark due to her believes that this can improve her relationship with her partner. They like their partners to do something out of their comfort zone such as romantic walks and cuddling time. Besides that, commitment is also a very important factor for them. We shall move on to the 2^nd point, how men define romance.

Most men are seen in the article as suggested by Souter as not romantic enough. Some of them see romance as a work that never ends due to the commitment and desires of women that they find hard to statisfyl. However, different men have different interpretation about romance. One man may think that a moment of silence will be a romantic gesture while another guy thinks that having sex is something romantic. Souter suggested that why men find it difficult to be romantic is because they don’t know why certain things will delight women. In addition, fear is another factor why men are not romantic. Firstly, the fear or rejection after doing something that seemed romantic to him. Secondly, his partner finds it suspicious when he is romantic and lastly it attracted undesired responses. Men tend to lose confidence and give up on being romantic. This lead us to the 3^rd point, advice for men.

Now here are some tips for men, Sharing and Listening are very important components to maintain a good relationship. Men should often share his thoughts and listen to their partner because women appreciates when their partners are honest especially when it comes to feelings and they liked to be listened to, as this is a sign that they are taken seriously. Moreover, men should show his effort in improving his relationship with his partner and utilize some element of surprise. The unexpected romantic gestures turn out to be thoughtful for a woman. Besides, by reading the book “Living Romantically Every Day” by Barbara Taylor Bradford will also be a good assistance. This book has a rose-print cover and contains pretty pictures which do not appeal to a man. However if he dares to read it, better yet, in public, it shows that he is making some effort and he is stepping out of his comfort zone. Souter suggested few ways that men can try to fulfill women’s wishes: First, Men can take more photos and make it into a scrapbook so that both them can look back at the moment. Second, Men can do something special for his partner. Third, Men could create a list of special days so that he and his partner can celebrate together.

For the conclusion, I believe that there is no specific definition for romance. Romance can be a big production or a little moment. Both men and women should compromise. Women should not being too picky nor expect too much and be more appreciative while men should not be overwhelmed by ego and be more courageous when they are seeking for their true love.

By the way, I got an A for my presentation! *Yay For Me*XD

A "Quick" Post!!

It's RAINING!! RAINING!! & RAINING!! This is my first winter in Sydney and I don't know actually it rain so often during winter. I found that the "Raining Style" at here is very weird. It always rain heavily but just for a short period and it stop then it continue to rain again, it's call 小便雨 in chinese XD ~

*Sigh* I'm having a hard time with one of my group member. Sometimes I felt her being too bossy... When we create our group questionnaire, she said she don't like my question and she want me to change it ; When we are doing our own graph, she want me to redo the my whole graph in the last minute ; During Sunday night, I asked her whether Monday is the due date for my part. She told me No and on Monday morning, I received a SMS from her that 'She hope I already done my part, cause it is my responsibility.' Due to a little time left , I just find a sample from the textbook and modify it. I showed it to my teacher and she said ok with my work. But Miss X reply me with an email.

"Sorry Tom but I am disappointed with what you have done..You were not supposed to copy off the sample at the back of the book..!! Where is your own effort...?!anyway.. I will do that again...Thank you.."

After I read this email, I felt so angry and frustrated. I know it is for our group own good but just don't cross the line. It's ok to be bossy but you need to have a limit. It's ok to give advice but don't despise other's hardwork.

When I'm walking back home, I suddenly felt maybe it is lesson from God that I need to experince it and I should take it as a stepping stone to learn how to forgive and forget. After that, I felt more calm down. We will meet people from all walks of life and we could not expect everyone to think or do things the same way as us. So there will be a lot of lessons that we need to face it and gain something from it. Actually this post should be a short one, but I just felt I need to find somewhere to express my feeling...

Ah! I'm now preparing from my English summary presentation. Tomorrow I'm gonna present it to my class and the title is "The Things We Do For Love." XD I'm going to continue with my work. This Sunday I will be going for an excursion with my class. I will update my blog a.s.a.p! Hope you all will have a Great Friday and weekend.

Winter

Winter is creeping in.. Monday was the first day of winter and now the weather is getting colder and colder. It is raining here most the time.

Last Thursday, my group went to Bondi Junction to do our survey for our group report. We chose to go on Thursday is because it is the Shopping Day and that is the only day for stores open till 9pm. Our group topic is The Effect of Lifestyle on The Level of Stress. The purpose of our survey is to investigate the relationship between some of our daily habits and the level of stress we experience. We started our survey at 6.30pm , our survey took us 3 hours + and I had to stand for 3 hours just to do 15 survery. By the time we finished our survey, it's already 9.30pm and I'm exhausted + starving. All the shops had closed and I didn't have the time for shopping T___T. After that, I had my dinner with my sister at the food court.

This is something I found from the internet regarding about how our habits effect our stress level.

Caffeine : Caffeinated foods and drinks such as coffee, tea, colas, energy drinks,and chocolates increases stress levels by stimulating the central nervous system. Excess intake of caffeine will result in hyperactive mood , poor concentration , decrease effectiveness, sleep disturbances, and increased levels of cortisol in the blood and cause irritation and stress.

Sugar : By eating sugary foods, it will quickly raises the energy levels in the body in a short-period. But it is only temporary and will cause a drastic fall in the energy level.

Alcohol : Although many people turn to alcohol in order to relieve stress they are actually greatly aggravating the problem. Alcohol causes an increase in adrenaline production which in turn causes insomnia, heightened irritability and other such problems.

Foods high in salt and saturated fats: These are usually found in fast foods & junk foods and are very harmful to the health. They can cause heightened blood pressure , it is easy to lead to stress problem. Besides that, it also increase the chances of coronary heart disease.

Exercise : By doing exercise can effectively reduce stress. It is believed that 30 minutes of exercise/ sport is enough for the whole week.

Sleeping : Sleeping is an essential factor that affect stress. A good quality of sleeping time will make you feel refreshed and you will often find that people that didn't get a good sleep are mostly stressful people. The recommended hours of sleep is around 7-8 hours daily.

Personally, I believed that a balanced diet + exercise/hobbies + good quality of resting time = A healthy lifestyle and good health!

Congrats for CH Band for getting 2nd place. I know it didn't turn out not what we want. But still I want to praise you all and I'm VERY PROUD of you all. You all had done a Marvelous job!! Thumbs up for you all!

Keep up the good work and Don't be sad anymore, I know that you all perform very well and this time performance , you guys didn't have ANY REGRETS! Remember 君子报仇十年不晚 XD.. They didn't pick us, is their own lost, not ours!! Just remember DON'T LOSE HOPE and NEVER x100 Ever Give Up!!!!!!!! Who doesn't fail before? We just have to be wrong to learn what is right ; hurt to be strong ; fall to rise again ; lose to try harder and pray to overcome them all.

For My Dearest Band ~ CHMBB

It's around 3am here but I'm not sleeping yet because I want to dedicate this post to my School Band - Chung Hua Miri Brassband back in Malaysia. By joining band, it was really a life changing experience for me . And now when I look back I had a lot of precious memory that I had been through with my band.

We laugh together - We won Champion during Italy Festival and 07 State Level Champion.

We cry together - Last year we got 2nd place during State Level Competition by losing to the champion team just for 0.5 marks.

And much much more!! All of that are the bitter sweet memories for me!

This Saturday they are going to compete for the State Level Brassband Competition and the weird thing is seems like I'm more nervous that the participant XD. Just now, I went to my connect group and all of us had pray together for my school band. We pray that all the members will have a healthy body , so that they can perform their best with no regrets and the MOST important is that they will enjoy themselves!! Hope them will achieve GREAT result because they had contribute so much time, money, passion, love and faith.

To F.5 members : This will be your last year with band, so enjoy yourselves and treasure all the memories!!! XD

To all members : Remember to drink more water and take good care of yourself. And just ENJOY YOURSELVES!!!!!!! You guys are my NO.1 forever!! XD

It had been quite a while since my last post, sorry for that... Last Wednesday, we went to Hillsong Powerhouse!! It was Great and the preaching topic for that night is about "Stay True to Your Dream!" Personally I think the message for the topic is very good. So I would like to share with you guys. Hope you guys will like it.

Before that, we need to realise that our life is BIGGER than we think, we can CARRY more than we think (meaning that we can actually do much more stuff rather that we think) and ENJOY our journey to pursuit our dream.

1. Guard your heart for it's the well spring of your heart.

- Start guarding your heart as the road won't be easy.

- Keep on track and keep a good heart.

- Soft heart and hard skin. ( The meaning of soft heart is to be kind and sincere to others and hard skin is that don't easily be defeated by people's words & action)

2. Put your hope in God!

- No hope = No life!!

- We should have hope in Jesus!

- Don't complain at Jesus if he gave you a Detour because he want to make you strong. You will find that sooner or later you will also reach the target.

- Don't give up at God too quickly, Have hope and faith!!

3. And the last point is NEVER x100 Ever Give Up!!!!!!!!

- Who doesn't fail before? We just have to be wrong to learn what is right ; hurt to be strong ; fall to rise again ; lose to try harder and pray to overcome them all.

Who doesn't have a DREAM? Everyone must Dream BIG!! A quote from my lovely band teacher Pn. Soh - "Aim for the moon, even if you fall. You will land among the stars!"

During night time, we went to Star City Casino. This is my 1st time going to a casino since I just became 18 not long ago. I went to explore the Casino, I think it's because of weekend, the casino is full of people.

Sunday : We went to visit the Macadamia Nuts Farm, Lavender Farm and the Wine Yard. It took us 2 hours + to the destination. Haha, I just keep on sleeping until we reach the destination. We went to the outskirt of Sydney and I think the scenery there was Awesome!!

2 GIFTS ~

Last week, I received 2 Gifts all the way from Malaysia and Dubai!! I received a new watch from my 2nd Bro!!! TQ!! I Love it! The name of the watch is Body and Soul. XD Few days after I received the watch I found that the time stopped and I thought my new watch is out of battery. Actually it can generate electricity itself ,all I need to do is just shake it then the watch will move again. *Opps I felt so outdated* XD

This year the band members find an atrist from the Internet to help them design the Band T-shirt.I think it is very creative. Congrats them for getting Spain Music Festival Champion. All the best to them for the State Level Brassband Competition, hope they can represent Sarawak to the National Level Comp this year.

STOP STOP STOP!! Stop the time! Time flies very fast!! Today my cousin and aunt is going back to M'sia. Our home suddenly full with laughter during their stay. We had TONS of FUN!!! Hope they can stay a little bit longer~ *Sigh* But never mind, me and my sis is planning to pay my cousin a visit during December. We shall meet again, VERY SOON!!

WOoooo!! My cousin and aunt are coming next Tuesday! My cousin is coming for her Graduation Ceremony and my aunt come to visit my cousin which living with us. Now everyone is cleaning their own room and the entire house , so that the guest will have a pleasant stay. I'm cleaning my room too~ XD My cousin will stay at my room during her stay and I'm going to sleep at my sis's room.

Seems like each month, they'll be someone to visit us. That's a good news for us too, so that we wont be so bored. This is our plan through out whole year : -

April & May : Visit from Cousin and Aunt

June : Visit from Sis's friends & maybe A trip to Brisbane (wooo~ Movie world, Sea world and Dream World)

July : Hillsong Conference 09 and a visit from Dad

August : Schooling period

September : Visit from Mum and Cousin

October : Schooling and revison period = /

November : Final Exam period

December : Going back to M'sia!!! XD

Today is my Biology teacher - Claudia's birthday and our class decided to help her celebrate her birthday. We plan to celebrate her birthday after our Biology class and who knows that the celebration will turn out to be full of surprises!!

fire evacuation

The above photo was taken before the fire evacuation. After Claudia blew out all her candles , the siren went on "FIRE ALARM HAD BEEN ACTIVATED. PLEASE WAIT FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS!". Suddenly the whole class became silent and freeze for quite a moment and the laughter broke the silence. And the Birthday Girl start to panic and say "Oh My God!!!", she start to run along the corridor to find some button to switch of the siren.

But instead, another instruction were given. "EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! PLEASE EVACUATE NOW". And all the students start to leave their class with their teachers and "escape" from the emergency staircases. While we were walking at the staircase, I keep telling my classmates that "This is so WRONG!" XD When we reached outside the building, we made a confession that we are the one who activated the fire alarm. After the lecturers and teachers heard our reason, they just can't stop laughing. When we are allowed to go back to the class, Wiaam said "Lets get back to the party~!!" And thanks to us, most of students went back home early after the fire evacuation.

Before all of us went back, Claudia told us another funny incident. When she was at the corridor, she found a Emergency Red Button and she pressed it. And she try to tell the speaker that "It's my birthday and my students are celebrating for me, There are no fire!" and the machine just replied her"Please wait for further instructions , the fire brigade is on the way."and all of us just burst into laughter. All of us had a GREAT and ENJOYABLE time and once again ~

Easter Break!!

Last week was my 1 week Easter Holiday and during last Wednesday, my sis , cousin and I went to cinema to watch a 3D movie "Monsters vs Aliens". Although it is a cartoon, the 3D effect make it very cool. The 3D effect make you feel that the things in the movie will "float out" from the screen.

Last Saturday (18/04) was my 2nd sis's 21st Birthday. Following the custom of Australia, the birthday girl/boy need to treat its sibilings or friends for a meal. And my sis did that~ XD She brought us to a Germany Restaurant - La Bohème Restaurant. The food were simply DELICIOUS!!!

After the service, we went to Mamak - A Malaysian style hawker stall. There were a lots of people there and we had to Q-up for quite a long time to wait for our turn. And I found out that something wierd that it's a Malaysia stall but most of the employees are Singaporean =P. Our dinner cost us $60 (FYI it's RM156), there is no doubt that the food there taste nice but the price is kinda expensive. By using RM156 back in hometown I can go to have a delicious dinner in a proper restaurant. A piece of Roti canai here cost me $5 =(RM10), back in M'sia I can eat 10 pieces of Roti canai. =V= oh well~ just once in a while I need to fulfill my desire for M'sian foods. If not I will be broke soon XD

Do you know what is the meaning of Easter Day? Easter is the celebration for the resurrection of Jesus. But Today Easter is commercially important, seeing wide sales of greeting cards and confectionery such as chocolate Easter eggs, marshmallow bunnies, Peeps, and jelly beans. Some people have forgotten what is the true meaning of Easter Day.

Although Jesus the son of the Christ had predict his betrayal and death, He didn't run away. Before Jesus was being arrested, he told his disciples, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. When Peter wanted to protect him, he told Peter :"Put your sword back into its sheath. Shall I not drink from the cup of suffering the father has given me?" After that, as Pilate had found out that Jesus is not guilty, the people of Jew had the chance to set Jesus free but instead they let Barabbas (a revolutionary) free.

Jesus Sentenced to Death (John 19:1-7)

1Then Pilate had Jesus flogged with a lead-tipped whip. The soldiers wove a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and they put a purple rob on him. 3"Hail! King of the Jews!" they mocked, as they slapped him across the face.

4Pilate went outside again and said to the people, "I am going to bring him out to you now, but understand clearly that I find him not guilty." 5Then Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said, "Look, here is the man!"

6When they saw him, the leading priests and Temple guards began shouting, "Crucify him! Crucify him!"

"Take him yourselves and crucify him," Pilate said. "I find him not guilty."

7The Jewish leaders replied, 'By our law he ought to die because he called himself the Son of God."

The Death and Resurrection of Jesus

Jesus then was crucified on Friday and early on the Sunday morning, Mary Magdalene and his disciples came to the tomb to found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance and they could not find the body of Jesus Christ. Jesus then appears to Mary Magdalene and his disciples.

Some people see Jesus dying at the cross as a curse (during that time, there was a custom saying that people that die on a tree is a curse)， some people think that it's foolish and some people find that it is abusive.

But I see that as a sacrifice. So what do you see？
